Sleep Secret Audio Strikes Out Sleep Deprivation

Greetings,

Over the course of the past few months I have received some pretty cool testimonials for http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com

If you haven’t seen them, they are located about halfway down on the page at http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com

But today was a little different.

As I checked my stats for the visitors to the site here, I noticed traffic, lots of traffic coming from a new link.

Curious as I am, I clicked it, and here’s what I found.  http://www.busymom.net/reviews/2009/05/sleep_secret_audio.html
Busy Mom, a local blogger from Nashville steps up to the plate and hits a home run with her very favorable review of the Sleep Secret Audio’s.

She basically writes about how she took the audio’s and plays them how they are intended to be played.

No special coaching, no tips on how to use the sleep audio’s, she literally just Pressed Play, Then Slept!

Just like we have been saying all along.

As the creator of The Sleep Secret Audio’s, it does give me great pleasure to know that when people with sleep problems such as sleep loss, insomnia, sleep deprivation and other sleep disorders try our products, they really do what they say they will.

That’s why we can honestly say: “Give us seven minutes, and we’ll give you a good night’s sleep. Guaranteed!”

If you are not sure of my words, visit http://www.busymom.net/reviews/2009/05/sleep_secret_audio.html and see what Busy Mom has to say.

She’s a Mom, she wouldn’t lie :)

Sincerely,

Thomas “Trapper” Sherwood

No Sleep for the Weary

Greetings,

I came across the transcript of this interesting podcast about sleep, sleep disorders and insomnia, and wanted to share this valuable information.

Enjoy!

Seventy million Americans are affected by sleeping loss and sleeping disorders. Sleeplessness can lead to accidents, injuries, depression, and an inability to handle work responsibilities. Dr. Lela McKnight-Eily discusses sleeping loss and sleeping disorders and their negative effects on health, including diabetes, obesity, depression, and anxiety.

A CUP OF HEALTH WITH CDC
No Rest for the Weary
Prevalence of Perceived or Insufficient Rest or Sleep by Days in the Past Month
Among U.S. Adults in Four States — BRFSS, 2006
March 6, 2008

[Announcer] This podcast is presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. CDC — safer,
healthier people.

[Ana Benson] Welcome to A Cup of Health with CDC, a weekly feature of the MMWR,
the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. I’m Ana Benson, your host for this week.
Are you having problems sleeping at night? Rest assured you’re not alone. Seventy
million Americans — myself included — are walking the floor or staring at the ceiling
right along with you. Lack of sleep is a silent epidemic that can lead to other problems
besides just dozing off during a business meeting. Sleeplessness can lead to accidents,
injuries, depression, and an inability to handle work responsibilities.
Dr. Lela McKnight-Eily is a researcher with CDC’s National Center on Chronic Disease
Prevention and Health Promotion. Dr. McKnight-Eily is joining us today to discuss ways
we can get a better night’s sleep. Welcome to the show, Dr. McKnight-Eily.

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Thank you, Ana.

[Ana Benson] How did CDC come to recognize lack of rest or sleep as a serious public
health concern?

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] CDC has long recognized the importance of sleep on overall health
and its relationship to both chronic diseases and sleep-related accidents. The
Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System and the National Health Interview Survey
both contain sleep-related questions.

[Ana Benson] So then what’s the difference between an occasional bad night’s sleep
and a more serious sleep disorder?

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Ana, anyone can have an occasional bad night’s sleep. A sleep
disorder tends to be characterized by a cluster of signs and symptoms that occur, such
as difficulty sleeping or waking, sleep disorder breathing, or abnormal movements of the
body.

[Ana Benson] Then tell us about the negative effects on health caused by a lack of rest
or sleep.

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Sure. Sleeping loss and sleeping disorders are associated with
several physical and mental health problems, including diabetes, obesity, depression,
and anxiety.

[Ana Benson] What causes sleeping problems?

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Well, there’s several causes of sleeping problems, including
occupational factors such as extended work hours or shift work; lifestyle factors, such
as using the Internet or TV; and also actual sleeping disorders, such as insomnia.

[Ana Benson] Well then, can you recommend some steps that a person can take to
overcome this problem?

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Sure. First of all, just following the recommended sleep guidelines
for adults — sleeping an average of seven to nine hours per night. Second, maintaining
a regular sleep schedule or time to go to sleep and to wake. Third, avoiding caffeine,
nicotine, or alcohol several hours before going to sleep. And fourth, seeing a doctor if
there are concerns about chronic sleep loss. There are both effective behavioral and
medical interventions for persons with sleeping disorders.

[Ana Benson] Great tips. Where can our listeners go to get more information about
sleep disorders?

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] www.cdc.gov/sleep.

[Ana Benson] Thank you, Dr. McKnight-Eily, for sharing this valuable information with
our listeners today.

[Dr. McKnight-Eily] Thank you.

[Ana Benson] OK everyone. That’s it for this week’s show. Be sure to join us next week.
Until then, sweet dreams and be well. This is Ana Benson for A Cup of Health with
CDC.

Losing Sleep Does Pay

Announcing!

YES, It’s Finally here! The Affiliate Program for………

The Sleep Secret Audio’s!

I have had many folks ask, and now you shall receive.

But first, let’s go over what Affiliate Programs are.

Affiliate programs are the ultimate win/win for web site owners and bloggers.

Affiliate programs are basically partnerships between merchants, webmasters and individuals.

Affiliate programs are, without a doubt, one of the fastest and most effective ways to build your Internet business and begin earning a great income from home.  Affiliate programs are often referred to as Referral Programs, Associate programs, Revenue sharing, profit sharing, or partner programs.

These programs are common throughout the Internet and offer website owners an additional way to profit from their websites.  These programs are web based advertising method in which business rewards publishers or affiliates for each visitor brought by affiliate’s marketing efforts.  Affiliate programs are also called “performance marketing”, in reference to how sales employees are typically being
compensated.

Affiliate programs are ways for you to make money online by directing people to some other companies products and/or services. Affiliate programs can create  highly profitable, long term relationships. A program like this is a reliable and inexpensive way to market your site and greatly improve your sales, because you basically will have an army of affiliates and sub-affiliates marketing your product to their list and subscribers.

Affiliate programs are simply the best you can get, and they work even better when used in conjunction with other types of advertising.

How You Earn Your Commission

Each affiliate is provided with a tracking number, this allows the company to track sales and keep a record of where the commission should be paid.  The majority of affiliate programs pay a commission as a percentage of the revenue generated by the sales made.  No need to use any website at all: Just use your links and start getting commissions.  All you have to do is to enroll in an affiliate program, market the products with your affiliate link, and you could earn wonderful commissions.

For example, the affiliates may earn a 30% commission for selling product X himself; and when one of the sub-affiliates makes a sale, the affiliate may get a 10% commission as well.  When the visitor makes a purchase, you get a commission.

Are Your Taxes Affecting Your Sleep?

Greetings,

April 15th is close upon us.

It is that time of the year when we hear the old saying “Only two things are sure in our lives; Death and Taxes.)

Death and Taxes, for sure those two things seem to be certain.

Well, I can’t help you out with the death part, (that’s a little bit out of my control).

Taxes, not so much either. You will have to pay your taxes, sorry.

But if your taxes or even worrying about death is causing you to lose sleep, then I can help.

One of the things we discussed in an earlier blog post was to relax your mind, then fall asleep.

But as some folks have ask me, how do you really do that? Because they say, when they go to relax, their mind races in a big circle.

This has happened to you too, hasn’t it?

It goes something like this……

You lay down, and to relax your mind you start thinking of , lets say baseball. So you are laying there, thinking of your favorite team. Yeah, you start to smile, you love watching your favorite team. You can feel yourself relaxing a little bit. Your mind is drifting away from the taxes you haven’t finished yet, or the amount of money you owe. As you continue to think of your team, your mind starts wondering about how much they get paid. Now your mind is focusing on how much these ball players get paid. You feel your body tense a little.

“Why do these guys get paid so much for playing a game?” You can hear your mind say. Hmmmmmmmmm, you start thinking, how much do they owe or pay in taxes????

And there you are, the circle remains unbroken and your mind has return to what you were trying to relax from, your taxes.

It is a vicious circle isn’t it?

What can be done about it?

Would you like to lay down at night and fall asleep in about seven minutes?

What if I could show you a way to assist you in falling asleep, would you be interested? Would you like to remove sleep loss, insomnia, or sleep deprivation from your life?

Our “Press Play, Then Sleep” audio’s do exactly that. If you can lie down, put on some headphones, or just listen to our audio’s through your speakers, you too can relax your mind so you can fall into a deep, peaceful sleep. It’s brand new and a fresh approach for intelligent people to fall asleep to.

That is what you are looking for isn’t it?

Please visit http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com right now, our audio’s are available for immediate download.

Invest in a good night’s sleep, because it will be a 100% benefit to you.

Sincerely,

Thomas “Trapper” Sherwood

Taking Control Of Your Sleep

Greetings,

Let me ask you a simple question.

How did you sleep last night? Or here’s an even better one, did you?

Do you have control of your sleep, or does sleep loss or sleep deprivation have control of you?

Sometimes the old saying “sleep well” is not just a wives tale. In reality, it is the truth. In today’s society, a good night’s sleep is vital in order for us to perform our daily functions. Please don’t take this lightly.  In a recent study, 48% of Canadians were not sleeping properly, and over in UK, something like 80% said they would prefer a good night’s sleep to sex!

WOW!

So, how do we take control of our sleep?

Well, one way would be to listen to the ads blasting across out televisions nightly telling us to “take this pill” or “take that pill” and fall into a deep slumber.

Hmmmmmmm, me thinks the drug companies want you under their thumb. How many deaths have occurred because of sleeping pill overdoses? How many more deaths will have to occur before the regular person like you & I realize that drugs are NOT a way to get our sleep under control.

Well, what is the answer??

I say do it naturally…. sleep that is. :)

There are many great ways to get your sleep under control withour resorting to drugs.

Have you tried exercise? (Get your Dr’s approval first before trying anything to strenous)

How about a nice warm bath or shower before trying to fall asleep.

Have you thought of a warm glass of milk?

What about a nice, soothing, and simple way?

Would you be interested in almost being “held by the hand to fall asleep”?

What if you could just plug in some headphones, or earphones and be talked into a deep, peaceful and restful sleep that lasted throughout the night? And what if I told you that once you learned how this “Secret” worked, that you could use these techniques anytime or anyplace you needed to use them, would you be interested?

If you are like the many others that have tried this “secret” out, you would.

Take control of YOUR sleep now! Don’t let the drug companies do it.

Wake up feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and knowing that it’s all natural.

Visit the Sleep Secret Audio now to get yourself on the proper path to a good night’s sleep.

Visit http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com and in about seven minutes, yes seven minutes you too can be drifting off to dreamland.

Sweet Dreams,

Thomas “Trapper” Sherwood

Do You Know What Causes Insomnia?

Greetings,

I hope Daylight Savings Time has not disrupted your sleep to much this past week.

Things around here have been pretty busy, and I just now realized that I have gone a whole week without posting.

Sorry about that. Today we are posting information about what can cause insomnia.

Causes of Secondary Insomnia

Secondary insomnia is often a symptom of an emotional, neurological, or other medical disorder, or of another sleep disorder.

The emotional disorders that can cause secondary insomnia include depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease are examples of common neurological disorders that can cause secondary insomnia.

A number of other diseases and conditions can cause secondary insomnia, including:

* Conditions that cause chronic pain, such as arthritis and headache disorders
* Conditions that cause difficulty breathing, such as asthma or heart failure
* Overactive thyroid
* Gastrointestinal disorders, such as heartburn
* Stroke

Sleep disorders, such as restless legs syndrome, also can cause secondary insomnia. In addition, secondary insomnia can be a side-effect of certain medicines or commonly used substances, including:

* Caffeine or other stimulants
* Tobacco or other products with nicotine
* Alcohol or other sedatives
* Certain asthma medicines (for example, theophylline) and some allergy and cold medicines
* Beta blockers (medicines used to treat heart conditions)

Causes of Primary Insomnia

Primary insomnia is not due to another medical or emotional condition and typically occurs for periods of at least 1 month. Whether some people are born with a greater chance of having insomnia is not clear yet. A number of life changes can trigger primary insomnia, including:

* Major or long-lasting stress and emotional upset
* Travel or other factors such as work schedules that disrupt your sleep routine

Even after these causes go away, the insomnia might stay. Trouble sleeping may persist because of habits formed to deal with the lack of sleep. These habits include taking naps, worrying about sleep, or going to bed early.

Sincerely,

Thomas “Trapper” Sherwood

Daylight Savings Time And Your Sleep

Now that you know a little more about DST, how does it affect your sleep.

For me personally, I don’t like when we change the clocks back & forth. I always find that it does mess with my sleep.

For others, they have told me the same thing, and still others have said they do not feel a difference.

How about you?

Do you experience sleep loss? Sleep deprivation? Insomnia?

Let’s do an informal poll, post a comment, and we will tally the scores up. I look forward to what all of my faithful readers have to say on this.

Sleep well.
