Because Sometimes It Isn’t Insomnia

Greetings,

I know that the title of this post; “Because sometimes it isn’t  Insomnia“  sounds strange, but really, that’s the truth.

Many times we may toss & turn before falling asleep because we have way to much on our minds. The kids, school, job, economy, yada, yada, yada. I know, been there, done that. Also, sometimes, like me the other night we just don’t feel like going to bed, or to sleep, but know we should because the work day is looming on the other side of the dawn.

So does this mean we have insomnia? No just means we have alot on our minds.

How can we combat this?

Well, when I was inspired to develope or create the “Press Play, Then Sleep” system of the Sleep Secret Audio’s, it was for the the millions of folks around the globe with insomnia or sleep loss that I had in mind to help. (And they are being helped, just not by the millions,… yet.)

But anyways, as I was sitting in my chair the other night and didn’t really want to go to sleep as I had no early morning customers or clients I had to take care of, I realized that this EXACT reason was yet another one to use the Sleep Secret Audio’s!

I mean here I was, sitting, not wanting or needing to go to sleep, but knowing I needed to. So what did I do?

You guessed it!

I took my ipod, nestled between the sheets in my cozy bed, inserted my earphones, turned on my Sleep Secret Audio Tracks, and you know what, before the first eleven minutes of the sleep instruction track was complete, I was orbiting Pluto!

After a delightful sleep of about seven hours that night, I woke up the next morning feeling so good.

So like the gentleman in the old hair club replacement ads use to say, “Not only am I the President, I’m also a client.” That statement applies to me as well.

If you have a tendency to have a little trouble fallin asleep at night, and it’s not really insomnia, or a sleep disorder, but you just need a helping hand to drift off into dreamland, click on over and see what the “Press Play, Then Sleep” system is all about.

Do you Know The Two Types Of Insomnia?

Greetings,

A question I often get when I am talking with people is “What is insomnia?”

Insomnia is a condition in which you have trouble falling or staying asleep. Some people with insomnia may fall asleep easily but wake up too soon. Other people may have the opposite problem, or they have trouble with both falling asleep and staying asleep. The end result is poor-quality sleep that doesn’t leave you feeling refreshed when you wake up.

Types of Insomnia

There are two types of insomnia. The most common type is called secondary insomnia. More than 8 out of 10 people with insomnia are believed to have secondary insomnia. Secondary means that the insomnia is a symptom or a side-effect of some other problem. Some of the problems that can cause secondary insomnia include:

  • Certain illnesses, such as some heart and lung diseases
  • Pain, anxiety, and depression
  • Medicines that delay or disrupt sleep as a side-effect
  • Caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, and other substances that affect sleep
  • Another sleep disorder, such as restless legs syndrome; a poor sleep environment; or a change in sleep routine

In contrast, primary insomnia is not a side-effect of medicines or another medical problem. It is its own disorder, and generally persists for least 1 month or longer.

Overview

Insomnia is a common health problem. It can cause excessive daytime sleepiness and a lack of energy. Long-term insomnia can cause you to feel depressed or irritable; have trouble paying attention, learning, and remembering; and not do your best on the job or at school. Insomnia also can limit the energy you have to spend with friends or family.

Insomnia can be mild to severe depending on how often it occurs and for how long. Chronic insomnia means having symptoms at least 3 nights per week for more than a month. Insomnia that lasts for less time is known as short-term or acute insomnia.

Secondary insomnia often resolves or improves without treatment if you can eliminate its cause. This is especially true if the problem can be corrected soon after it starts. Better sleep habits and lifestyle changes often help relieve insomnia. You may need to see a doctor or sleep specialist to get the best relief for insomnia that is persistent or for which the cause of the sleep problem is unclear.

Little Glands That Cause Big Sleeping Problems

Tossing and turning at night is certainly no way to live, especially if we have been doing it for quite some time.  Missing a few nights sleep because you have something on your mind it is never going to hurt you but if you’re dealing with sleepless nights on a regular basis, it can affect your entire life.  Not only do you miss out on the sleep that you need but you tend to go through life in kind of a haze, unable to really function as you should.  You might be surprised to find that there are a lot of little things that can cause big problems such as this.

Many of the little things that cause problems such as this are the glands that are inside of our body.  Some of the main glands that can affect our sleep include the pituitary, the thyroid and the pineal gland.  Although these glands are only several ounces in size each, they can cause major problems if they get out of balance.  Not only do they cause problems with sleeping, they can actually disrupt on our entire life.

The thyroid gland is responsible for so much in the body that it is often considered to be the rudder that steers it.  If we are dealing with hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, our sleep can be affected negatively.  Even Hashimoto’s disease which is not really a problem with the thyroid but rather a problem with tumors on the thyroid can cause it to function improperly.

The pituitary gland is what regulates the release of adrenaline into our system.  This can cause major problems for us because adrenaline will definitely keep you awake.  If we tend to stress unnecessarily, it may be a problem with our pituitary gland.  Then again, unnecessary stress can also be caused by a vitamin deficiency.  This is a problem that is best left to your doctor to diagnose.

Finally, we have the pineal gland.  This is a small gland that is located in the brain and it is responsible for releasing melatonin into your system.  Melatonin is a natural sleep hormone that is produced by this gland and it helps to regulate our internal clock.  If we are having a difficulty sleeping, melatonin or a lack of it may be to blame.  Either build up your hormone levels naturally or take it as a supplement in order to help you sleep.

Clearing Your Insomnia Without Pills

Greetings,

Whenever we have a problem with our body, one of the first things that many of us do is to run to the doctor or the drugstore in order to look for a cure.  Unfortunately, many of these pharmaceutical cures do nothing more than cover over the actual disease that we are dealing with.  Yes, they may seem to take away some of the symptoms of the disease but they do very little in order to help cure it.  A perfect example of this is if we are dealing with insomnia.  There are plenty of pills and medicines that can be taken which claim to help you to get a good nights sleep.  The fact of the matter is, however, they may actually be robbing you of sleep in some way or another.

If you truly want to get relief from your insomnia problems, you first need to find out what is actually at the root of the problem.  Insomnia is not always a disease or disorder in and of itself.  As a matter of fact, it is often a symptom of another underlying problem that we are dealing with.  These problems can be anything from allergies to dehydration to elevated stress levels.  Truly understanding what is at the root of the problem is your first step in being able to find a natural cure.

While you are looking for this natural cure, I’m sure that you would like to find a way to be able to fall asleep and stay asleep naturally.  The easiest way to do this is by boosting the levels of melatonin in your body.  You can take natural melatonin supplements but you may also be able to increase the amount of this hormone that is released into your body.  The way that this is done is by increasing the tryptophan levels in our body, a natural way of triggering melatonin production.  Tryptophan is available in warm milk so, believe it or not, drinking a glass of warm milk before bed can really help you to sleep better.

Curing insomnia without pills and without any kind of pharmaceutical help whatsoever is the only way for you to truly be free of this problem once and for all.  Although the natural cures are going to differ from individual to individual, bringing your body back into balance and helping you to get a good nights sleep is worth any effort that needs to be put into the search.

Another great, all natural way to fall asleep is through the use of The Sleep Secret Audio’s. Available at: http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com
These audio’s were specifically recorded so the use of pills to fall asleep at night would not be needed. Consumers like yourself have been falling asleep in about seven minutes, all without the use of pills.

Pills are not the long term answer to your insomnia, or sleep loss issues. Keep it natural, try the “Press Play,Then Sleep” system available at : http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com

What do you have to lose for not trying it, except more sleep.

Sweet Dreams,

Relax Your Mind, Then Fall Asleep

Greetings,

How often do you have a hard time sleeping because you tend to have too much on your mind?  It is not always stressful situations that can cause a lack of sleep but it is really just having a busy mind that does not allow us to relax enough to drift off.  If you really want to get a good nights sleep and overcome these insomnia like symptoms, you need to be able to relax your mind.  Once you’re able to learn how to do this, you would be surprised with how quickly you are able to fall asleep and the quality of sleep that you’ll get.

Relaxing your mind is not something that you’re going to learn to be able to do overnight.  As a matter of fact, it often takes quite a few days or perhaps even a week before you become proficient at doing it.  While you’re learning how to do it, however, you can certainly reap the rewards of a more relaxed mind as a result.  Here are several different things that you can do.

First of all, you need to make sure that you are not filling your mind with anything that will cause it to stress or to overwork.  This includes engaging in any kind of serious conversation within a half-hour of that time or watching television shows and movies that have you on the edge of your seat.  Before you go to bed, take a little bit of time to sit in a quiet area, meditate and relax.  Think positive thoughts and allow your mind to drift to something that is going to make you feel good.  If you have a difficult time doing this, try doing it with a little smile on your face.  Believe it or not, this really helps.

You can also do other things to help relax your mind, such as taking warm baths, listening to some soothing music or reading poetry.  The most important thing is that you try and forget all of the troubles that are on your mind from the day and don’t dwell on anything that will keep you up at night.  All of your troubles are going to be there the next day, there is no need for you to worry about them at night so relax and enjoy some sleep.

Now that you are in your relaxed state of mind, we have developed some special sleep audio’s to take you from relaxation, into a deep, restful and peaceful sleep. We call our system, “Press Play, Then Sleep”, available at http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com

Would you like to be able to fall asleep in about seven minutes? Is waking up refreshed and rejuvenated what you are looking for? No more tossing and turning because your mind is abuzz with stress? “Press Play, Then sleep”, it really is that simple.

Just think, after downloading The Sleep Secret Audio’s you could be enjoying a deep, peaceful and restful sleep in about seven minutes.

Sweet Dreams,

Trapper

Do You Really Have Insomnia?

Greetings,

Many of us may complain about not being able to sleep on occasion but we may not be dealing with insomnia.  Insomnia is actually a sleep disorder of itself which is characterized by not being able to rest for more than a few moments at a time.  Insomniacs typically are not able to sleep at all at night and it effects them during the day as well.  This can come in several different forms.  Transient insomnia typically last from several days to several months.  Acute insomnia lasts for up to six months and is typically characterized by an inability to be able to sleep well.  Chronic insomnia last for years and it can either be a disorder all of its own or it may be a symptom of an underlying problem.

The fact of the matter is, many of us that think we have insomnia are actually not dealing with this disorder at all.  There are dozens of different sleep disorders that we may be dealing with and unfortunately, it can be difficult to diagnose which one we have.  For example, many of us have a difficult time sleeping because we are dealing with stressful situations throughout the day.  It can be difficult to get our minds to stop dwelling on the stressful things whenever we lie down to go to sleep.  Although this is frustrating and it certainly is a sleep disorder, it cannot be considered insomnia.

That is why it is important for us to understand what is causing our sleeping problems before we find out how to cure it.  Depending on what is at the root of the problem will make a difference in what kind of natural cure we attempt.  Of course, it is always a good idea to try some relaxation techniques, get some exercise and eat a well-balanced diet.  All of these things are going to help you sleep better, regardless of whether you have insomnia or not.

If you want to cure your sleeping problem naturally, you should try keeping a sleep log for several weeks or perhaps even months.  Recognizing the patterns that are behind your sleeping difficulties can go a long way in assisting you to diagnose the problem.  Once you understand what is at the root of the problem, you will no doubt be able to find a natural cure that will help you to get the sleep that you need.

Is Dirt Keeping You From Sleep?

Greetings,

There are a lot of different things that can keep us from sleeping at night.  Many of us suffer from insomnia as a result of stress or perhaps an imbalance in our body.  If it seems that you just can’t get the sleep that you need, you might be surprised to learn that dirt is behind a lot of your sleeping disorders.  I’m not just talking about dirt on our bodies, I’m talking about our environment being dirty in general.  Here are some things that you can do prior to going to bed which can help you to get a good nights sleep.

The first thing that you should do is to make sure that you are taking a shower before you go to bed every night.  During the day, our hair acts as a magnet for all of the pollen that is in the air.  Whenever we go to sleep, this pollen is transferred from our hair to the pillow and we end up breathing it in throughout the night.  If we have a problem with allergies, and most of us do, this can make a difference in the quality of sleep that we are getting.  As a matter of fact, you might find out that this kind of allergy is behind your insomnia in some way or another.

Another thing that we should make sure of is that the room we are sleeping in is clean and tidy.  It is not only important that the sheets on our bed are clean and freshly laundered, we want to make sure that the rest of our room is not cluttered.  Although we are going to be sleeping with our eyes closed, our mind is still going to know that there is clutter present in the room.  Believe it or not, this can have an amazing impact on our ability to sleep and can actually begin to cause insomnia in some people.  Take a little bit of time to make sure that this area is clean and you will be able to sleep a little better.

One thing that I need to caution you about, however, is that you do not over clean by using strong detergents.  Many of us can have a bad reaction to these detergents that can keep us up at night.  Make sure that you launder your sheets with an organic detergent and don’t use any harsh chemicals when you’re cleaning this area.  This is just one more step that you can take to help you to get a good nights sleep.

If you are following these tips and suggestions, and you are still having a hard time falling asleep, let me please suggest the “Sleep Secret Audios”

These audio’s will help you to relax your body, so your mind can relax. As the mind is relaxed, the “Sleep Secret Audios” take over, walking you through how to relax your body, with simple command, and then bringing you to sleep.

That’s why we call it “Press Play, Then Sleep” and it really is that simple.

So if you are having a tough time falling asleep, and you need some assistance, click on over to http://www.sleepsecretaudio.com Get started on a good night’s sleep NOW!

Sincerely,

Trapper
